Beyoncé's surprise album, "Lemonade", is every bit the hit that we imagined it would be as it bags four Emmy nominations.
The pop star also earned her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing, which is another milestone on her very long list.
The categories for which "Lemonade" was nominated are:
Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special
Outstanding Production Design For A Variety
Nonfiction, Event Or Award Special
Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming
Outstanding Variety Special
This is hardly the first time one of Beyonce projects has been nominated for an Emmy, and as with "On the Run Tour: Beyonce and Jay Z", which
was up for Outstanding Special Class Program in 2015, and her Super
Bowl XLVII Halftime Show in 2013 which was also up for Outstanding
Special Class, "Lemonade" stands out.
